considering this compact be a good wireless microphone let's check it out[Music][Music]dave taylor here and i'm checking outthis this set is the lensgo 348cwireless lavalier microphone and it'sactually pretty slick now this is thereceiving unit so it has gain up anddown and it has out so you plug in oneof the included wires and now you have3.5 millimeter so you can plug this intofor example a computer or a camera orwith an adapter typically a phone so ihappen to have an adapter which lets meplug 3.5 millimeter into lightning sowhat i've done is i plugged it into myiphone 13 pro put this on a tripod andthen stepped outside for a demo so let'sjust jump into the demo right off thebathi there's really no better way todemonstrate a wireless microphone thangetting pretty far away from your cameraand i'm doing this using my iphone 13pro on a tripod and i'm using themicrophone transmitting from meand receiving on the phone and you canhear the audio quality is really goodand it is not adversely affected by megetting further awaypretty cool now let me jump back on acloser cameraaren't the colors lovely on my streetit's just it gets really beautiful inautumn but that's not what we're talkingabout we're talking about the microphoneand i have to say that microphonesounded mighty good considering i wasstanding what 30 40 feet away from myphone obviously if i would have justbeen using the built-in microphone on myphoneyou either wouldn't have heard me or iwould have been screaming my littleheart out and you still wouldn't havebeen able to hear me so it works reallywell now this is the transmit unit andyou can tell it has different things onthe edges so let me give you a couple ofclose-ups so on the right hand side ispower and then on the top is the abilityto plug in an external microphone if youwant to use something else or it hasthat built-in microphone which is thatlittle silver circleand then on the right hand side you havea slot for microsd or a tf card and youhave usbc for charging iton the front there is a record buttonbecause i can record audio directly ontothat microsd card so i don't even needthe receiver i don't need anything elsei can just use the transmitter as arecording device that's pretty slicknow the both of these units also chargevia usbc but what the company does isthey ship this really cute littlestorage container that's also a chargingcontainer so you open it up and i haveall the other accessories in here butbasically it has space for twotransmitters and a receiver obviouslythis setup only gives me one of eachthere is a different model from lens gothat gives you that two transmitters inthe receiver but you put them in hereyou close it and they charge so this isactually a tiny little charging basewhich is pretty slick and then you plugit in in one place and it charges allthe different units now what wires doesit come with well there's 3.5 millimeterto 3.5 millimeterthere is this 3.5 millimeter to 3.5millimeter they are useful for differentsituations there is usbcfor chargingand let's see which one is theirtransmitter so the transmitter has aclip but you take the clip off it's amagnet and it's a pretty strong magnetso you can also use itwith this other one and then you can usethis with clothes so you can put thisbehind a piece of clothingand then actually have the clothingbetween and now you have the microphoneon someone's blouse or shirt or thelapel of their suit whatever so there'sthatthen there's also a wind cover you cansnap on the top which gives it that sortof traditional furry headwhich i think is always really coollooking and there's also a little clipyou can put on the top and that givesyou different protection and a littlebit more flexibility in terms of thethings you can do with attaching it soall of this super easy to work with youpush and hold the power button for threeseconds on both units they automaticallypair you can record directly off thetransmitter or you can have thetransmitter on the person you're tryingto record the receiver plugged intowhatever device you're using and you'regood to go right so no hassles no fussso let me give you some specs so thewhole thing works on 2.4 gigahertz whichgives you up to225 foot range it's pretty impressiveand it has two input modes you can domono or stereo there's seven levels ofnoise reduction if you're in a reallyloud environment although most peoplewill probably do that in post that'sanother story each one has a 400milliamp hour battery which gives you upto seven hours of use when it's justdoing transmit receive or four hours ifyou're doing a recording so you can plugthis in as long as you have space onyour little card you can record fourhours of audio with this and it mighteven just be behind something so youdon't even actually see it that's prettycooland let's see what else can i tell youabout it so the maximum card size theysay is 32 gigabytes which is a littlesmall but experimentally i'll tell you itried a 64 gig card it seemed to workfineobviously i can't guarantee your resultsmight be you know somewhat differentand that's the whole setup i'm prettyimpressed i think that this is all aboutaudio quality and that demo showed youthat this gives you really good audioand i just was using the built-in mic onthe top of this thingreally good audio and good range andthat's a great combination i did have tobyoa bring my own adapterand this is i don't know about 10 buckson amazon the3.5 millimeter to lightning adapter youneed something similar if you have anandroid phone that doesn't have a 3.5millimeter jack toobut once you get that you now have somuch more flexibility if you're doingvlogging or just video or tick tock oryoutube whatever the heck you're doingif you want to record your audio on adevice you now are freed up from havingto be really close to it or wired to itand that's a pretty good deal so all wehave left to talk about is the
