this is not thefirst timei reviewed a microphone now let's getdown to businessif you guys watch my t180 and 3280reviewsyou probably know my favorite feature ofthose two the 318c compact design and the 328c'sbackup recording now lens go decided tomakea new version for you guys with thesefeatures combinedin one wireless audio system and moreand today march 4 is the day of itsofficial releasenow this is going to be an initialreview since i've only used it for a fewdaysstill i'm going to go a bit deeper onwhat this microphone can do and ofcourse before anything elsei would like to thank our friends atlensgo for sending me thisto review now let's do the unboxingand here is the box the model name is 348c wireless microphone it supports 32 gigabyte of tf cardfor built-in recording which is awesomeand it comes with three color variantsblack white and yellow and i gotta saythis is becominga trademark for lens go giving theirconsumersmore styles to choose from let's checkout this sideand here's what's on the other sideat the back are the specification i'mgonna freeze this frame for a bitor you can just pause it and readnow let's see what's insideso here is the case it is built inplastic here is a buttonto open the case nothing else on thissideand on the left side is where the usb-ccharging porttogether with the reset pinhole forpairing the devicesalright now let's open it here's what'sinsidetwo transmitters with a detachable windfurwhich i find very very nice i love itand it is a greatimprovement now let's check out the txthe build quality feels nice and premiumwith the lens go branding model nameand the tx logo this is a 2.5gigahertz wireless microphone systemguys kind of similar to a wi-fi that weuse at homehere's the record button to activateinternal recordingnow you guys watch my 328c review and asi mentioned therethat i wish they have included a manualrecording buttonwell here it is they applied itin this model this only means thatlens go is listening guys and that isawesomegoing back here are the lead indicatorsfor the power and connectivityat the top is where the built-in mic andthe 3.5 millimeter jackinput is located and on the side youwill seethe on and off button with the lock forthe width fornothing else at the bottom and on theside is where the tf card slotis with the usb port for chargingand also the other lock for the wind furat the back there is a magnet clip withthe charging pinsthat connects on this part of thecharging casenow let's check out the receiver it isalmost identical with the txwith the power and signal led indicatorsand at the top is the 3.5 millimeterjack outputand on the side is the usb type-cport and on and off switchon the side is the gain control plus andminus buttonnothing at the bottom and lastly themagnet clip with the charging pins onthe same locationnow let's check out the accessories thatcame with itan extra magnet for external mountinga trs to trs for cameras goprosand camcorders a trs to trsfor smartphones and lastly one usb ccordfor charging the case and the unitsand it didn't come with the lav mic thistimenow let's check out each devicesfirst is the rx let's turn it on and thelens go logo appearson this tiny screen it shows the batterystatus of the rxthese two circles are indicators if theinternal recording isactive or not so if you press the recordbuttonon the tx another red circle will appearand the s is an indicator for stereo andmif it's on mono so this wireless systemcan record in stereo and mono which isgreatbelow are the two transmitter batterystatusand a signal bar it will appear once itis connectedthe number in the middle is the gainindicator and lastlythe digital odd meters on both sideslet's turn on both tx and show you howit lookswhen it is connected now to change fromstereo to mono orvice versa just press and hold both thegain buttons for 2 secondsand voila now my favorite feature ofthis is the internal recordingso let's insert the tf card here let'spress the record button for a second andthe light will blinknow you can start making a sound andpress it againto turn it off alright so now let's dothe audio test i'm going to switch myaudio nownow since this is a wireless audiosystem i can do thisi can walk aroundhere in my room and you can still hearmyaudio even though i am far awayfrom the camera now let me go back to myseatand that is the advantage of thiswireless systemnow on paper the maximum range of thisis around 70 meters or 230 feetunobstructed line of sight which is niceand now let's do the noise floor testhow was it guys again there's anelectric fan over thereand a mini electric fan over there aswelllet me know in the comment section belowalright so let's go outside and do somerange testsall right right now we are outside to dosome range tests using the lens go348c and as you can see on my right sideherethere is a road and is a busy busy roadyou can hear a lot ofvehicles passing through so i'm gonna gothat way i'm gonna count while i'mwalking so that you'llhear what my voice has i go far awayfrom the micone two three four five sixseven eight i'm gonna press the built-inrecorder hereso that you knowwe will have a backup audioand right here now it's activatedso right now i'm walking as far awayfrom my cameraand also the receiver i'm not entirelysure if you guys can hear meespecially when i'm turning my backon the receiverright now i'm about i think one100 meters away not really surei'm gonna go as far as way as possiblefrom my camera here and let's checkif you can still hear my voicevery well said earlieri already activated record thislens go 348c so probably you'll behearingmyside that i installedin this microphonei'm gonna go as far as possibleand i keep turning my back onthe receipta chance to try how far thati'm i'm not really sure if you'reso[Music]sincethe signal doesn't reach itselfwhich is very very nice okay so rightnow i amgoing back tomy kit andas you can see i made thisusline of sight as possible becausethat is the right way to test this outthere are other obstacles here likeuh port vehiclesand some of the trees and there arethere are a lot of residential areas onthe right sideand now since this is a 2.4 gigahertztype of transmission i'm not really sureif thismight pick up some wi-firouters here or wi-fi signals here fromtheresidential areasi am getting close as possible right nowso after this i'm going to check ifhow far did the signalreceives the transmissionin my entire walklet's hopethis sounds good all right so i'm backherei'm gonna go check it out all right ialready checkeduh the distance the range test that wedid earlier andi think that one was a very very nicetestwe were able to reach farmore than 70 meters away i thinkbecause while i was reviewing the videoi wasso tiny on that part but it stillreceives my voiceespecially during when i'm facingthe camera so basically that's in theline of sight you will basically receivethe signal from the rx and the tx whichiswritten on the specifications of the348cnow i'm gonna invite my camera womanhereto say something so that you basicallyhave an idea onhow both microphone sounds sogeraldine and initial thoughts aboutthe newlensgo 348c wireless microphonefirst let's talk about the sound qualityi gotta say i'm really impressed on howcrisp and nice it soundsand that is the most important part lensgo always focuseson that part so that is expected nextis the build quality i love the roundedgesreminds me of the old iphones lookspremiumfeels premium the small form factor isalso a plusit is easier to hide on your talentsclothing andthe color variations gives you moreflexibilityon making it more invisible on camerasnot to mention the magnet is reallyreally strongit sticks like it is glued on my chestlet's seeanother thing i like is the wind furseeit's not even budging let's seelet's put it back i'm not gonna drop itthis time i can't stress enough how ilikeit compared to all i've seen in themarketthe locking mechanism is awesomely doneand that is way to go for you guys atlens gonext is the internal recording manthis is really a life saver and i'm surefor the future release of lens gothis feature will be a standard thecharging caseis a great addition as well but whatmakes it stand outamong its competitors is that you canstore the accessoriesinside it as well a one-pack wirelessaudio systemthat you'll just put in your bag nopouch entangled wireseasy to set up without any hassleand lastly i like that they remove thelwmon the model name makes it easier topronounceand easier to rememberjust kidding guys now i have a few notesfor improvement the first thing is astopper forthe magnet clip i've mentioned this onmy review for the g18cbut guys don't worry i haven't droppedit as i've said earlier this is mainlyjust to stop the rotation of the txor the rx and it is more of a personalpreferenceand it is not a big deal and lastly thelatency of the audio metersince this device doesn't have amonitoring input we will have to relymore on this audio meter so i wish theycould make the latency more accuratebut these are just minor things though ihaven't used it for long as i've saidearlier so probablyi'll be making a follow-up video on thisguysso stay tuned on the other hand ofcourseright off the bat i definitely recommendthis to all of you who areinterested on
